Vision
SPNIWCD is to be seen as an Institute of Global repute in women empowerment, child rights, child protection and child development.

Mission
To act as a think tank, catalyst, and inventor of women empowerment, child rights, child protection, and child development programs by pursuing capacity building of functionaries, research and evaluation, networking, consultancy, and advisory services, as well as provision of specialized services through interdisciplinary teams.

Objective
- To develop and promote voluntary action in social development;
- Take a comprehensive view of child development and to develop and promote programmes in pursuance of the National Policy for Children;
- To develop measures for coordination of governmental and voluntary action in social development; and
- To evolve framework and perspective for organising women empowerment and children's programmes through governmental and voluntary efforts.
